How to wear a Sari

On your back, you now see the long skirt that you tied yourself. It is strengthened by a second layer of cloth running from your left to your right hand side.
The paluv decorates your back and runs from your left shoulder approximately halfway down your thighs. The dimensions may vary according to your size. You may need to fold more pleats in Step 3 if you have an especially small waist. Or you may need to fold 1-2 pleats less.
You may have to experiment a little until you manage to have the paluv hanging halfway down your thigh.
